The Honeycomb Melt is a MiniNail controller built entirely from boro glass, hand etched by Hungarian glass artist Toth Tibor Tamas. A melted face sits at the center, framed by honeycomb cut into the panels around it, with the MiniNail mark worked into the glass above.
It is etched by hand, so no two are the same. This one exists once.
🔮 Glass and Electronics in One Box
Putting a PID controller inside etched boro glass is an awkward thing to do well. The walls have to be thick enough to live on a desk and get handled daily, the etching has to read from across a room, and the electronics still have to sit square and vent properly behind it.
That is what you are looking at through the glass: the actual board, running the same closed-loop control as every other MiniNail.
⚙️ It Is a Real Enail, Not a Display Piece
The Honeycomb Melt runs the entire MiniNail lineup. Every heater coil, every nail and dish top, the Coil Caddy, the Flower Wand. Anything that plugs into a MiniNail controller plugs into this one.
Set your temperature and the controller holds it. The number on the display is the dabbing surface, not the coil, because every MiniNail controller is calibrated before it ships. 400°F to 600°F is the range most people run.
