Collection: HEATER COILS

Which Heater Coil Do You Need?

The coil has to match what you are heating. Wrong size means poor contact and uneven heat, and in some cases it will not seat at all.

Coil Fits
20mm Barrel Flower Wand engine, 20mm quartz banger
25mm Hybrid (Standard) 25mm bangers, quartz hybrid, titanium and SiC nails
30mm XL Hybrid 30mm XL bangers and XL hybrid nails
30.2mm Coil Caddy Standard Coil Caddy dock
40mm XL Coil Caddy XL Coil Caddy dock

Check Your Voltage First

Coils are built for either 120V or 230V and they are not interchangeable. Your coil has to match your controller.

  • US and Canada - 120V
  • Most of Europe, Australia, and elsewhere - 230V / 240V

International orders ship with the 240VAC coil. If you are replacing a coil on a controller bought abroad, check which one you have before ordering.

The Coils

Hybrid Heater Coil (Standard, 25mm)

The most common MiniNail coil and the one included with the standard enail kit. Heats the bottom and the sidewalls together.

Fits: 25mm quartz bangers, quartz hybrid nails, titanium nails, silicon carbide nails.

XL Hybrid Heater Coil (30mm)

For 30mm quartz. Larger surface takes longer to come up to temperature, and holds it longer once there.

Fits: 30mm XL quartz bangers, XL quartz hybrid nails, XL silicon carbide hybrid nails. Everything in the XL Enail collection.

20mm Barrel Heater Coil

A barrel-style coil built for the Flower Wand engine.

Fits: Flower Wand ball vape engines, 20mm quartz bangers.

Coil Caddy Heater Coil (30.2mm)

The enclosed dock coil. Instead of wrapping your quartz, it forms a cup you drop the piece into, so you can lift it out afterwards and place it on your rig with nothing attached.

Fits: the standard Coil Caddy, holding quartz up to 30mm. Slurpers, bangers, towers and the Wireless Flower Wand.

XL Coil Caddy Heater Coil (40mm)

The same dock design at 40mm, 60mm deep.

Fits: the XL Coil Caddy, holding quartz up to 40mm. Large slurpers, towers, blenders and oversized nails.

Discontinued Coils

No longer produced, listed here because plenty are still in use.

  • Flat Heater Coil - heated from underneath rather than wrapping the quartz, which left the dish visible. Runs shallow quartz dish tops, not the deep dishes used by hybrid coils.
  • 25mm Barrel Heater Coil - barrel-style at 25mm. The 20mm Barrel above is the surviving barrel coil.

Coil Hardware

What's Inside a MiniNail Coil

  • 4-foot Kevlar-sheathed cable - abrasion resistant and rated for the heat it sits next to
  • Grounded 5-pin mini-XLR connector - the same connection across every MiniNail accessory, so any coil works with any controller of matching voltage
  • Internal temperature probe - reads the actual surface temperature rather than estimating it
  • Velcro cable tie

Two-year warranty on every coil.

When to Replace a Coil

Coils are consumable. Signs yours is going:

  • Temperature readings jump around or will not stabilize
  • The controller throws an error or will not hold a set point
  • Visible fraying or damage at the cable, especially near the connector
  • The coil no longer sits tight against your quartz

A worn coil under warranty is covered for two years. Everything else for your setup is in Enail Accessories.
