What Is a Dab Nail?

A dab nail is the heated surface your concentrate vaporizes on. On an enail setup it is wrapped by a heater coil and held at an exact temperature by a digital controller, so there is no torch involved.

Where a quartz banger is a single piece of quartz, a MiniNail nail is built in two parts: a titanium body that takes the heat and holds it, and a replaceable dish that sits inside it where the dab goes.

That split is the point. The body lasts effectively forever. The dish is a wear part you can swap, in whatever material you want, without replacing the nail.

Three Materials

Quartz Hybrid Universal Nail

A pure quartz dish seated in a titanium body. Quartz is inert and flavor-neutral, so this is the choice if taste is what you optimize for. Ships with two quartz deep-dish inserts.

Best for: low-temp dabs, terpene-forward material, anyone coming from a banger who wants the same flavor with more durability.

Titanium Universal Nail

Grade 2 titanium throughout. Effectively indestructible, heats fast and holds heat hard.

Best for: heavy daily use, travel, anyone who has broken quartz before.

Silicon Carbide Universal Nail

A silicon carbide dish in a titanium body. SiC holds heat longer than quartz or titanium, stays neutral in flavor, and the dish is the easiest in the range to clean.

Best for: back-to-back dabs, long sessions, anyone who wants flavor and endurance in the same piece.

Standard or XL?

Standard nails are 25mm and run a 25mm hybrid coil. XL nails are 30mm and need a 30mm XL coil.

More surface means room for a bigger dab and more even spread. It also means a longer wait for the nail to come up to temperature. Full range in the XL Enail collection.

Replacement Dishes

The dish is where the dab lives, and it is the part that wears. Swapping it is cheaper than a new nail and lets you change material without changing anything else.

Standard 25mm

XL 30mm

XL Quartz Deep Dish (30mm) - takes 3mm and 6mm pearls
XL Silicon Carbide Dish - 30mm SiC top

Two fitment rules worth knowing:

XL 30mm dishes need a 30mm coil. They will not run on a 25mm hybrid coil.
Shallow dish tops work with the discontinued Flat Heater Coil only, not hybrid coils.

Universal Fitment

All MiniNail hybrid nails are universal: they fit 10mm to 18mm male and 14mm to 18mm female joints using the titanium adapters included in the box. One nail moves between rigs without buying anything extra.

Need a spare or a replacement?

Terp Pearls

Pearls spin in the dish under a directional cap and push concentrate across the heated surface instead of letting it sit in one spot. 4mm suits a standard dish.

Quartz - cleanest flavor
Ruby - denser thermal profile
Silicon carbide and titanium - the longest heat retention

Nail or Banger?

Nail - replaceable dish, universal joint fitment, and a titanium body that outlives everything around it. Better if you want one piece that adapts.
Banger - one piece of quartz, nothing to disassemble, simpler to clean. Better if you want the purest quartz flavor with no metal in the path.
