Collection: TERP PEARLS

What Are Terp Pearls?

Terp pearls are small spheres that sit in the bottom of your quartz banger or dish. When you pull through a directional carb cap, they spin.

That spinning does two things. It pushes concentrate around the heated surface instead of letting it pool in one spot, and it keeps the oil moving so it vaporizes evenly rather than scorching in the middle and sitting cold at the edges. The result is more vapor from less material, especially at low temperatures.

Also sold as terp spheres or terp balls.

How to Use Them

  1. Drop one to three pearls into your banger or dish
  2. Let the pearls come up to temperature along with the quartz
  3. Add your concentrate
  4. Cap it with a bubble cap or cyclone cap and pull

The cap is what makes them spin. Without directional airflow the pearls just sit there. Leave them in between dabs or fish them out with a Terp Pearl Grabber - they get hot enough to take skin off.

Which Size?

Match the pearl to what you are heating.

4mm - hybrid nails

For the dish on a quartz, titanium or silicon carbide hybrid nail.

6mm - bangers and XL dishes

For 25mm and 30mm XL quartz bangers, and XL hybrid nail dishes.

Which Material?

All of them spin. What changes is how long they hold heat and how much they contribute to the flavor.

  • Silicon carbide and titanium hold heat the longest. Best if your dabs run long or you take them back to back, since the pearls keep working after the quartz starts dropping.
  • Ruby and sapphire sit in the middle: strong heat retention and a denser thermal mass than quartz, with the flavor kept clean. Lab-grown sapphire also comes in a range of colors, the only cosmetic choice on this page.
  • Quartz is the most neutral. Same material as your banger, so it adds nothing of its own to the draw.

Most people end up with a couple of sets. Quartz for flavor-first low-temp dabs, SiC or titanium for longer sessions.

Pillars

A pillar does the same job in a terp slurper. Instead of loose spheres it is a single shaped piece that sits in the bottom dish and spins under airflow.

Ruby

Slurpers take pearls alongside a pillar if you want both.

What Else You Need

Pearls only work with a directional carb cap. A flat cap seals the top but does not steer the air, so nothing spins.
