Ruby Barbell Pillar

The Ruby Barbell Pillar sits in the quartz tube of any terp slurper and spins as you pull, carrying concentrate back onto hot quartz instead of letting it collect where the heat runs out.
Pure ruby, cut as a barbell. Ruby is dense and takes heat well, so the pillar is still hot and still working at the end of a pull.
π How the Barbell Spins
Every pillar spins in the tube. The shape decides how. A barbell carries its mass out at the two ends with a narrow waist between them, and that profile gives it a spin of its own inside the slurper.
That is the whole appeal of this one. Shape is not decoration on a pillar, it is the part that determines what happens once air is moving through the tube.
π What Makes It Spin
Cap the slurper and the top is sealed, so air has one way in: small slits where the dish meets the quartz tube. That inrush is what sets the pillar turning.
A spinning pillar keeps concentrate moving against hot quartz instead of letting it settle somewhere it cannot vaporize. The same slits spin a terp pearl the same way.

π§ Pro Tips
- Bring the slurper up to temperature before you expect anything from the pillar. Ruby keeps heat once it has it, but it has to get there first.
- Nothing turning? Check the cap seal first. The spin depends on the top being closed so air has to come through the slits.
- Move it with the grabber, not fingers and not a dabber. Ruby is hard and the dish it lands in is not.
- Take the pillar out before you swab, and swab while everything is still warm. Residue that cools under a pillar is the worst of it.
- Prefer a straight cut? The Ruby Pillar is the same pure ruby as a straight cylinder, and it spins its own way.
