The XL Coil Caddy Heater Coil is the 40mm coil, the widest MiniNail makes. It takes the oversized bangers, terp slurpers and quartz towers that a 30.2mm coil cannot get around.

Heat comes off the bottom and the sidewalls rather than a single band, so a big piece of quartz comes up to temperature evenly instead of hot at the base and cool at the rim.

The Coil Caddy stand is the same either way. It holds the 30.2mm standard coil or this 40mm XL coil, so you do not need a second caddy to run bigger quartz.

Already have a Coil Caddy kit? Swap your standard coil out for this one and your capacity goes from 30mm quartz up to 40mm. Nothing else about the setup changes, and the coil you took out stays as a spare.

This is the coil on its own. It does not work standalone, because there is nothing to hold it in place without the caddy around it.

Drop your banger, terp slurper or quartz tower into the caddy and let the coil bring it up to temperature. Then lift the piece out and set it on your rig. Nothing stays tethered to the controller once the quartz is out of the dock.

🧠 Pro Tips

• Give a big piece of quartz longer heat-up time than a small one. More mass takes more time, and the first dab of a session is the one people rush.
• Keep your old 30.2mm coil rather than selling it on. Swapping back takes a minute and it is a spare if the XL ever needs a warranty repair.
• Coil the cable loosely into the Velcro strap for storage. Tight bends are what shorten a heater cable.
• Not sure which coil you are running? Measure the opening. 30.2mm takes quartz up to 30mm, this one takes up to 40mm.
