The Coil Guard Screw Set is two stainless set screws and the mini screwdriver sized to them.

Every MiniNail guard and caddy is held on by two set screws, so one pack is a complete set for one of them. The same screw is used across the whole line, which means this pack fits the Coil Guard, the XL Coil Guard and both Coil Caddies. There is no chart to check and no size to match.

🔩 The Mini Screwdriver

A mini screwdriver comes in the set, cut to fit these set screws. It seats fully in the head, so the screws tighten and loosen easily and the guard comes on and off in seconds.

🔄 Where the Screws Sit

On a guard, the two set screws hold the clamp closed around the coil arm. Back them off and the guard lifts away for cleaning. Snug them down and it stays where you put it. The caddies work the same way.

Heat cycling works small hardware loose over time, which is the usual reason a set screw ends up somewhere on the floor rather than in the guard.

🧠 Pro Tips

• Snug is enough. These are small screws in a thin clamp, and turning past snug strips the socket rather than tightening anything.
• Check them every few sessions. Heat cycling loosens small hardware, and a screw caught while it is still loose is a screw you still have.
• Keep the driver with the guard rather than in a drawer. It is a specific size and a general toolbox usually does not have it.
• Work over the table, not over the rug. Set screws are about the size of a grain of rice.
