Glass Top Hat Rig

The Glass Top Hat Rig is a collaboration between MiniNail and Slugworth Glass, hand blown in Colorado. Thick borosilicate on a wide, heavy base, with a 14mm female ground joint sized for an enail.
Every colorway is its own piece of glass. Pick yours from the dropdown.
🎨 The Glass Work
Each rig carries encalmos, rings of color fused in at the joints where two sections of glass meet. Both sides are lip wrapped with a thin line of raven black, and a custom MiniNail dichro millie is set into the piece.
Because it is hand blown, no two come out identical. The colorway you order is the style, not a copy.
💧 Slitted Perc, Fixed Downstem
The downstem is fused in rather than removable, so there is no ground joint down there to work loose or get lost. It feeds a slitted perc that breaks the pull up before it reaches you.
🔧 Built Around an Enail
The 14mm female joint is a banger hanger, angled to take a quartz banger or a hybrid nail with a 14mm male joint. The base is wide and heavy on purpose, because a rig running an enail has a coil, a cable and a hot nail hanging off one side of it.
At 8 inches tall and about 5 inches wide, it sits low enough to reach across a desk without standing up.

🧠 Pro Tips
- Fill to just above the perc slits. Too much water and you pull it up the neck, too little and the perc is not doing anything.
- Change the water often. It is the cheapest thing you can do for how a rig tastes.
- Keep the coil cable running off the back of the desk rather than across it. The cable is what pulls a rig over, not the rig.
- A fixed downstem cleans in place. Warm water and iso through the joint, cap both ends, shake, rinse.
