Moodmats builds art mats, and they have run collaborations with glass artists and brands across the industry for years. This one is ours with them.

♻ Lava Rubber

Lava rubber is upcycled neoprene. Clean surplus material that would have gone to a landfill is collected and remade into mats in New Jersey.

The color and the texture come out of that process, so no two mats look exactly alike.

🧠 Pro Tips

• Hot quartz does not go on the mat. This is rubber, so it cushions glass, it does not take heat. Park a hot banger or coil on the Heater Coil Stand instead.
• Put the whole base of the rig on it. A rig sitting half on and half off has a lip under one side, and that is how it ends up tipping.
• A damp cloth is all it takes. Rubber does not soak anything up, so spills sit on the surface and wipe off.
• Measure before you order. Eight inches covers a small to mid size rig base with room for a dabber beside it, and not much more.
