XL Silicon Carbide Hybrid Universal Nail (30mm)

The XL Silicon Carbide Hybrid Universal Nail puts a 30mm silicon carbide dish on a Grade 2 titanium body. The titanium takes heat off the coil and holds it underneath, and your concentrate only ever touches SiC.

The wider dish gives a dab more room to spread, so a larger load sits in a thinner layer instead of pooling in the middle.

🧽 It Wipes Clean

Silicon carbide is smooth at a microscopic level, so residue sits on the surface instead of working its way into it. A cotton swab takes it back to clean rather than scrubbing it back.

It behaves the way a nonstick pan does, with one difference that matters on something you heat every day: there is no coating. The smoothness is the material itself, so there is nothing to wear off or scratch through.

⚠️ Takes the 30mm XL Coil

A 30mm dish needs a 30mm coil. This nail runs with the XL Hybrid Heater Coil 30mm, and the standard-size coil will not reach around it.

🧩 One Body, Every Dish Top

Every MiniNail hybrid nail is built on the same body. This one, the XL Quartz Hybrid Nail, the Titanium Universal Nail and the Quartz Hybrid Universal Nail are the same hardware with a different dish top on it.

So the nail is not locked to the dish it arrives with. Change the top whenever you want, as long as your coil matches the dish size.

🧠 Pro Tips

• Recommended range is 500 to 600°F. A wider dish spreads heat over more surface, so give it the full warm-up before the first dab of the session.
• Swab the dish while it is still warm. Easy on this surface either way, quicker while the heat is still in it.
• Check the titanium screw every so often. Heat cycling loosens hardware, and a snug screw is what keeps heat moving from the body into the dish.
• Check your rig’s joint before ordering. 14mm and 18mm are covered in the box, 10mm needs the separate adapter.
