SiC Terp Pearl 3-Pack (4mm)

The SiC Terp Pearl 3-Pack is three 4mm silicon carbide spheres for your banger, slurper or hybrid nail. They sit in the dish and spin as you draw, carrying concentrate around the hot surface instead of letting it pool in one spot.

Silicon carbide comes up to temperature faster than quartz, ruby or sapphire, and it holds that heat longer, so the pearls are working from early in the pull and still working at the end of it.

🌀 What Makes Them Spin

In a banger or a hybrid nail, the cap does it. Air comes in through the cap and the pearls follow that airflow. A Glass Cyclone Carb Cap or a titanium carb cap has angled ports that drive a vortex, so the pearls turn in a steady circle. A Glass Bubble Cap works differently: turn the cap and the pearls move whichever way you point it.

In a terp slurper, the cap only seals the top. Air comes in through the small slits where the dish meets the quartz tube, and that inrush is what spins whatever is inside.

Either way the point is the same. A moving pearl keeps spreading your concentrate into a thin layer, which is where low temperature dabs do their work.

📏 4mm or 6mm

4mm is the one that goes everywhere. Any quartz banger, any terp slurper, and the standard hybrid nail dishes. It will also work in a 30mm XL dish, though 6mm moves better in that much space.

6mm suits bangers, slurpers and the 30mm XL dishes. It is too big for a standard 25mm hybrid nail dish, so if that is what you run, 4mm is your size.

🧽 They Wipe Clean

Silicon carbide is smooth at a microscopic level, so residue sits on the surface rather than working into it. There is no coating involved, it is just how the material is.

You can leave the pearls in the bucket and clean them in place with a cotton swab, or lift them out and soak them.

🧠 Pro Tips

• Let the pearls come up with the quartz. They are inside the dish already, so they heat with it rather than needing anything separate.
• Use the grabber rather than a dabber if you take them out. A pearl dropped into a hot dish is how quartz chips.
• Three is a starting point, not a rule. Some people run one in a small dish and more in a wide one, so try it and see what moves best.
• Swab the dish while it is still warm with the pearls in place. Everything comes clean in one pass then.
